Came across this:

Looks cheap, but will it fit?

I can only just get 750ml bottles onto my frame. It's a medium compact; if you've got a horizontal top tube and / or large frame then maybe it will fit.

It's only £2 so why not give it a go and let the rest of us know eh?

The diameter is the same as any other bottle, so it will be twice as tall as a 500ml bottle or 1/3 taller than your standard 750ml bottle, cant find a tape measure, oh you do the maths and post the answer :D

My favourite bottle is my 1 litre Rose bikes one, fits my bike perfectly.

I got it when I was getting some other stuff so shipping wasn't an issue. Otherwise shipping will kill it!

I've got a cage that you put bottles in sideways, it hasn't fallen out once since I got it; round a 1000 miles so it won't be that hard trying to get it in

Think of the extra weight you'll be carrying :!:

I prefer 750 ml bottles, possibly from Chinon or Saumur region...

    Booker 1l catering ketchup bottle.
Fits perfectly, lid easy to drink from, almost doesn't taste of ketchup any more :-(

Well yeah but I won't be using it all the time. I can still use the 750ml bottles when I'm going on a shorter ride; and when I think I'll be going on a long isolated route then I'll take the 1 litre bottles. For £1.99 its worth having the options!
