Hi all
I have £800 to spend at wheelies.co.uk, what bike would you recormend for a bit of cross country and general riding?
Ive had a brief look at the Rockhopper Comp 2012 and Cannondale Trail SL 29 er 3 2012 but just can't make up my mind.
I used to have a 2008 rockhopper disk until some little git thought he would steel it.
Thanks in Advance

Links help, but from memory Wheelies are a rip off, very expensive. I'd argue with the insurers.I don't do smileys.

Both look poor for the money - do they have any on sale?0

I don't think they do sales or actually sell to real people. Rip off insurance replacement place - sell expensive so they can give a 'discount' to the insurer, and catch people who run cycle to work schemes, generally HR types, who know bugger all about bikes.
But I'm not cycnical.I don't do smileys.

If it was me I'd ask for a cash settlement, the insurers will proabably deduct about 20%, but I reckon you'd do better on the open market with the cash.I don't do smileys.

I've got the Rockhopper comp, Perfect for me so far although the most demanding place I've put it through is Delamere forest and it seemed to cope really well, I got it for quite a bit less than the RRP aswell, I keep wanting to upgrade bits but I really don't need to yet as it's been workin perfectly.0
