Hello, a little advice please. I replaced rear cable earlier and cut it a bit too short, went to remove cable from the shifter and now it's in the wrong place so cant get it out. I can see it through the flap but it seems to be blocked now. I'm guessing I pressed a trigger by mistake.

What shall I do?

Cheers

pull on the cable a bit and try to tigger in or out depending on which way you think it went.

if the worst happens take the cover off and keep your thumb on the springs.

Pull on the cable, and change the opposite way, ie to the little cog.
