Red trousers are the sign of a character. You know you are in for an amusing journey when the bloke in red trousers sits opposite you on the train. Even better if they are wearing a character hat, ie pork pie or straw boater. If they have a character moustache or odd facial hair, then you have hit the jackpot.0
