Cube Bike Suggestions

Hello!
I am looking to get a new bike within the next few weeks after my previous cube was stolen. The choices have been narrowed down to three.
Cube LTD CC 2011 - appears to be exceptional value at 799 with delivery.

Cube Acid 2012 - £769

Cube LTD Pro - £849

I will be using the bike mainly for commuting, with weekend rides in the country/mild trails. Will there be any significant difference between the three bikes? as they are all quite similar in price.
Also I was slightly wary to order from Germany due to taxes and delivery time, plus I have also heard they use DPD to deliver. My local DPD delivery driver should not be in charge of peeling a potato, let alone driving a truck and delivering packages, one of the swans at the lake may end up signing for my package.
Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have a LTD Pro, and I bought it from www.bike-discount.de.
Chuffed with the bike, it feels great, is fairly light and the fork just does what you want it to. I was debating between the LTD and the LTD Pro I am glad I paid the extra to get the Reba fork. No regrets about my choice at all.
Have no fear about ordering from Germany. There are no hidden charges (I paid 999 euros +2 euros delivery) and the delivery time was impeccable. I was kept up to date with regular emails about how far along my bike was and received it in about 3 weeks, in perfect condition, all set up and just needed handlebars, seat and front wheel bolting on.
Stay away from the Acid. It has a worse fork and a heavy wheelset and the other two are just much better for not much more money. The CC does look very good value, full XT drivetrain will be lighter and sharper than the LTD Pro's XT/Deore mix although shifting is very crisp and quick on my LTD Pro so I find it hard to imagine how it could be much better that that to be honest. Obviously the CC is cheaper but still has the Reba fork and the high spec.0 -

But you have to admit you can get much more bike for not much more money.
But then the Cube range is so closely priced you can always get a lot for an extra £50 - £100 on whatever bike you are looking at.0 -

rebas would have been nice and ltd pro was first choice, but needed loads of other kit and it was on a cycle scheme budget.
but as you say where do you stop massive range in cubes reaction GTC, reaction Team Race etc etc0 -

I know, Cube are bastards for that. When I was looking, I originally settled for the standard LTD, then saw that for a little bit more I could get the Pro, then saw for a little bit extra I could get the CC, then hang on a minute, I'm in GTC territory now, I might as well buy one of those! Before I knew it, I had justified a £2000 bike to myself....0 -
Hi
saw the same deal on the 2011 Cube LTD CC couldn't resist it so order the bike. But got a E-mail the next day saying they were out of stock and wouldn't get anymore (oh noooo). Carried on reading the E-mail they offered me the 2012 bike for the same price. The bike has now arrived and I have to say it is awesome XT gear is great and after a bleed the brakes are fantastic delivery was about 2 weeks and no problems it came with parcel force in the uk I would say more but going for a ride0 -
Thanks for all the input guys.
What size cc was out of stock smitheee? I was looking at the 20"
Will eliminate the acid from the mix.0 -
Slightly OT (but I'd go for the CC) - I do get confused by Cubes ranging.
Lot's of very similar models at very similar price points - maybe it comes down to kit preference? I don't know the real world difference between the Reba on a Ltd SL and the Fox Evo 32 Float RL on the Ltd Race which are more or less the same money (some other kit is slightly different).
So maybe my confusion is due to my own ignorance.0 -
Hi
I wanted the 18 inch frame at the time I think it said they had less than 3 of all sizes0
