cat eye strada question

hi if i remove or try to replace the battery in my cat eye strada (wireless) will i lose all the data of miles done so far? or is there a memory bank on there even tho the battery is removed? or is there a geeky way to get the data off the cycle compute?
When i die I just hope the wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it other wise someone will be getting a mega deal!!!

I am the biggest critic of the usual suspects on here when the whipping if the OP starts, but blimmin flip, google + cateye strada manual, surely is the first port of call when someone says the cateye strada manual should be downloadable.
