Hi, I was just wondering what people's opinions are on the best grease for hubs, bearings etc.?

marine grease....same stuff, 1/2 the price of anything branded 'bike grease'. tons of it on ebay0

Currently using seriously purple grease, but I'm not a big fan0

Anything but lithium! It dries out quick and rots seals, and is useless for static applications as dry welds parts together.
Teflon fortified grease that Halfords do is good stuff.0 -
Another vote for halfords red teflon. Seems to be fairly water resistant and not too thick that it slows bearings down.0
