SRAM casette on Shimano bike

My Moda Stretto frame was written off recently in an accident. The nice Americal Classic Wheels however are fine. Ive heard Shimano/SRAM rear cassettes are interchangeble. Does anyone know if I would be able to simply swap my SRAM moda wheels onto my Shimano Raleigh Avanti bike? Slighty different gearing as follows:

Raleigh Avanti Comp :
Front: 52/39
Rear: 12/25

Stretto:
Front: 53/39
Rear: 11/25

    Just swapped the wheels over and seemed to run and shift fine. If I do ride with the swapped casette, the gearing will now be:

    Front: 52/39
    Rear: 11/25.

    Will this make any noticable difference to the ride from the original ratio?

    It will be fine, you'll be able to go a little faster on the flats and descents :!:
