Formula R1 Brake levers.

Hi - Does anyone know the actual weight diference between FORMULA R1 - ALLOY levers and the CARBON ones ??The internet seems to be full of MTB shops offering replacement "upgrade" Carbon levers for my Formula R1 ,s - But whats the actual weight diference ? I ,m not bieng lazy , Ive Googled it and EVANS - JAMES & CRC etc , all sell them but dont print weights for them - and couldnt find anything on Slicklines either .

    I had the carbon levers on one bike, they were ok but after a while you could notice more play in the lever than the alloy ones. IMHO I would not bother with them again.

    Doubt it would be much if any difference in weight. IIRC hope once said that they only make carbon levers because many buyers thought carbon = better(even though they could actually make alu levers both stronger and lighter).
