Garmin Edge 800 Update Software to Version 2.40 - How Long?

Trying to do a software update on my Garmin from version 2.20 to version 2.40.

This is the first time I've tried to do an update and it is taking ages (upwards of 15 minutes and I see nothing happening). How long should the process take?

I am using myDashboard to perform this.

Seems myDashboard cannot do it despite claiming to be able to. Rubbish. If this is the quality of Garmin's user support then I'm not going to be impressed!
