Soaking wet on the ride in today. Now bright sunshine. Better than the torrential downpour and flooding yesterday.

Today is Friday for most of you but more like a Tuesday for me as I have four more days to work until I get time off. At least they will be paying me well for it. This means more toys can be bought. It also means The Lakes should be quieter midweek so more peaceful riding.

I feel the need for more tea. And biscuits. And Cakes.

No hangover this morning after thursday night start of the weekend beers - bonus.... race tonight, its a relay so I can try hard then shirk for a bit, race on sunday, need to try hard for 2 hrs, cba at the moment, we'll see how that one pans out.

busy day today but i should have it all finished by about 2.30 and then i can go home..woo hoo.

good ride last night and i have a pass for tomorrow afternoon as the gf is taking our son to some birthday party or other, i'll miss out on cake but i get to get a nice ride in instead. i think i'll just buy some cake from the shop to make up for it

Today will be spent printing off forms, buying cake bars and possibly some spare brake pads in readiness for a 55km lakes ride tomorrow.

^As previously mentioned I am f**king angry. Mental minion went on leave on Wednesday, hasn't told anybody and has left a shed load of s**t to sort out that should have been dealt with months ago. This has resulted in many angry firepersons all phoning and asking what the hell's going on. I've also had a look at things I know should have been done but there's absolutely f**king nothing. I am about to motherf**king kill somebody.

Today after work i will be heading to Brizzle airport to pick up a lady friend from Holland, then a weekend of entertaining said lady friend. So i went out for another ride last night to make sure i ahd enough bike fix to make it through to monday!

Failed again this morning to get onto the forum because of this ******* glitch. But in any case spent most of the morning hanging around the hospital waiting for the bone quack to check out my fracture - which he did, then told me I needed a new cast on for another 2 weeks :evil: Looks like I'm going to be watching a lot of sport this summer rather than doing sport!

ha, I had the use of a company Focus today after expressing the need to get somewhere quickly. It is possible to get an econetic down to 17mpg. Plus I found out its possible to get the traction control to kick in below 30mph on roundabouts!
