can you get a 500mm 550mm seat pole

hi any no what size seat poles go up to ive seen 400mm but my mate it after a 500 or bigger nothing fancy or mega pricey he has a 380 at the mo and he has it past the limmit mark and ive herd that it can damage your frame by doing this
When i die I just hope the wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it other wise someone will be getting a mega deal!!!

    nope. sounds like the frame is too small.

    lol why? if this helps he has a specialized hardrock 2011 with other bits to jazz it up as it comes with some basic bits but thats what ya get for 35o i guess

    hes got a medium frame at 17.5 dont ask me why he didnt get a large hes 6ft 2
    would prob work out better to buy a new fram or secondhand ebay? and put the bits from the hardrock on the new frame well as much bits as he can

    Frame's the wrong size, no point messing around with stupid seatposts, flog it, buy something the right size, and not from the shop that sold it to him, they're idiots.

    I tried putting my 400mm post to max height on my Kula- it looked ridiculous!

    I think he needs a bigger frame, or his legs chopped down a bit...

    Gusset Lofty comes in a 450- I use one in my downhill bike when I want to pedal it up. But spending money on a post makes no sense when he could better spend it on buying a bigger frame.
