Giant Defy 4 vs. 3?

Looking to buy a new road bike, wondering if it's worth the step up from the Defy 4 to the Defy 3? Obviously I'd rather not spend more but is it worth it? Danke

Difference betwene Defy 4 to 3 is Shimano 2300 upgrade to Sora. They are basically the same system, just that the Sora looks nicer. Its not much of an upgrade tbh. You would be better off getting a sub £700 bike with a tiagra groupset such as.

I was considering a Defy but in the end have just ordered a 2012 Eddy Merckx AMX-1 for £612.00, lovely.

I was looking at that just yesterday but the strange sizing completely lost me, how does it compare to the Ribble Sportive 7005? That has Tiagra?0 -
I know that a 45cm is for riders 5foot6 to 5foot9, as was advised by local bike shop when I had a look at the 2012 in the 45cm. I am 5foot4 and was able to comfortably stand over the 45cm. I also looked at the ribble, but not being able to see one put me off. Im not sure where you live but if you go on the eddy merckx website you can find your nearest dealer and go have a look at the 2012 model to get an idea for sizing.0
