Going to watch stage 3 of the TDF ?

Hi

Im thinking of taking the bike over to calais either by ferry or tunnel.

And watching stage 3 which finishes in boulogne next week.

Im after any advice really: Routes from calais - Boulogne, riding in france?

    I'm doing this with a load of guys from my area, and I would imagine there will be a huge amount of others doing the same. Basically you just follow the D940 all the way down the coast to Boulogne. It gets a little lumpy the other side of Sangatte but nothing too strenuous. About 1800ft of climbing in 30 miles or so. From what I hear this road is not too bad traffic wise, but can get busy on sunny days and weekends. So we should be OK on both counts tomorrow then!
