Top for over armour / pressure suit

Going to have a bash at some light DH and going to start using the 661 pressure suit I have.
Want a top to go over the armour, but unsure as to sizing with the tops. I'm normally a large in most things, certainly biking tops, the pressure suit is a large.
Don't want to spend loads, just want something half decent to cover the suit.
Any suggestions on top / size of top?
Also, do you normally wear anything under the pressure suit?
Ta.

Cheers fellas. Ideally want long sleeved, had been looking at this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=69216 but the comment "Based on the fit and feel of an everyday tee shirt" made me think that maybe it aint for going over armour?0

Just order L and XL its free returns bud.0

I found that if you're ordering a DH type top the cut usually allows armour underneath if you order in your normal size - that was the case for the Troy Lee and Nema jerseys that I've got."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

I have got a couple of those Royal jerseys. Sizing is loose enough to fit over my 661 pressure suit without going up a sizeTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

You won't need anything unless you want to sweat more than usual........0 -
Cool, just didn't know if it was the norm to have something like a thin baselayer underneath to keep most of the sweat off the armour as it aint really something you can stick in the washer.
Plenty of febreeze I guess??
I was sweating like gary glitter in toys r us last night and that was just in the sub top...0 -
I stick my pressure suit in the wash, just take the spineboard off and in it goes... seems not to have done it much harm0

All my mountain biking tops fit over it fine. It's not actually very bulky when you wear it, you just look slightly more "buff" than normal0 -

Nice of you to notice
I can confirm however that I will lokk like something straight out of star wars. Certainy will feel it anyway0 -
I swear, you'll feel like a stormtrooper, but if you actually see a picture of yourself you'll be surprised.
There's a pic of me in mine on a snowboarding holiday, it really isn't as obvious as you'd think.0 -
So, went for the large. Question is, look the part or look a prat ?
Seem's comfy enough, also not too bad a fit without the armour.
Will of course change the jeans to something more appropriate0 -
You always look a prat............0
