Scotchlite Nail Varnish

Hi all,
New to these forums but been a cycle commuter for some years now.
Anyway, as the title suggests, I was wondering if anyone knew of some kind of ultra reflective nail varnish that I could use for night time commuting. I see that you can get Scotchlite stickers now in a variety of different colours, even Black.
I just figured that it could be a novelty safety aid and help to emphasise hand signals.
If such a thing exists, I shall be very happy.

so the title caught my eye, and I had a think.....
solution -
I though about mixing the reflective micro beads (glass 1's used in the paint) with clear top coat, and is should have some effect, but I think it would need a white under coat for the colour
You have to take into account any exposure to chemicals in these reflective paints, all chemicals and solutions will have a MSDS sheet (material safety data sheet)
this will list a MEL (maximum exposure limit) and a standard exposure limit (normally in hours)
the already safe clear top coat with a mixer is going to be the best option in my head (there could be uv types varnish on the market already
but check with these people they might sell the dry product, but wear a mask and in a well vented area, as these beads will mess your lungs up bad (max on a link suggest 5mg per m3)

and if it makes money........ i want a cut..... pls
and I hope this helps0 -
Hmmm, sounds a bit complicated. And potentially quite dangerous too. I was kinda hoping more for an eBay link or something.
Thanks all the same.0 -
Just stick the stickers on your nails. I've had some on my front wheel rims for almost two years now and they're still well stuck. Maybe too well stuck for fingernails.
Anyway, I got a sheet of stickers (about 30 10mm x 20mm) from Tesco, but I can't find them on the website.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future

Yeah, not liking the idea of stickers on my fingernails.
Maybe there's some UV clubbing nail varnish. I tried some glow in the dark nail varnish a while back. It only seemed to glow for about 2 minutes though.

Don't get the Internet confused with the World Wide Web.
The Internet evolved from ARPANET which is from the late 60s. Tim Berners Lee invented the World Wide Web a little over 20 years ago.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future

Not nail varnish, but this reflective tape website has a good explanation of the technology.

The prismatic version is a non starter, and the glass beads would be tricky to achieve in a single product - I think you'd have to build up at least three distinct layers, which for as small an area as finger nails is a lot of effort to go to.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Chuckle, you may not realise that an undercoat, colour and clear varnish as three separate layers are fairly standard in nail bars. Anyway, the missus has lovely if expensive nails now and again. She is just going to love motherhood...Le Cannon [98 Cannondale M400] [FCN: 8]

Alas you are correct, my knowledge of nail bars is somewhat limited.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

If such a product existed, someone would have painted a fixie with it by now.
Have you considered the Respro high vis cocktail dress and tiara combo, instead?0 -

Would UV nail varnish show up in car headlights, or does it only reflect UV light?0
