Recommend me a shoe ?

Looking to buy a pair of mtb shoes, but there seems to be a vast selection. Money as always is tight, so not wanting to part with a lot of cash but was a decent pair.

    Well I just use the Shimano MO64 which work fine...

    But I think they do look a bit gay and Only wear them if it's mega wet with over shoes or i'm racing xc..

    All other times it's style over substance for me ;)

    LOL the easiest thing to do is get down your LBS and try them on...

    Yeah, you need to try shoes on, they're all so different in terms of width, shape and having to size up/down.

    That said, I've just got some Mavics (Razors?) which seem very nice. I also had a fight with a car so I haven't had a chance to try them properly.
