If anyone is looking for a long ride this Sunday.
8am, Broadway public house, Derby. We are looking to average 16mph plus over the whole ride, if you reckon you could do the Marmotte in 10 hours or faster you'll be fine. Will be a couple of shortish stops for food - coffee rather than a 3 course meal.

Nice route - never been that far South in the Peaks - but you missed a great climb from Hathersage up to the gliding club at Abney - worth checking out if you've not been up it before. Good descent into Hathersage too!0

Yeah I like the gliding club climb - thing is I'd never done Sir William hill up until last weekend (when I did a recce of the route) and I wanted to mix in some unfamiliar roads. I've actually simplified it a bit as the first version had more little lanes in it.
