My new Radon Slide AM 7.0 from German mail order site bike-discount.de. It arrived very very quickly although did have some minor damage to the crank arm although they did offer vouchers for this.
Spec is:
Fox Evolution 32 Talas RL Fork
Fox Performance RP2 BV
Rockshox Reverb
Formula RX Brakes
Syntace seat/bars/stem etc.
DT Swiss 1800 wheelset
Shimano XT drivetrain (with SLX shifters/Deore cassette)
First ride today, face planted resulting in this:
The ride: very nice! Once suspension is dialled in it feels very controlled although felt I was slipping around on the Nobby Nics a bit. I think I just need to remember to put the dropper down further and weight the bike better. For the type of riding I do I'm tempted to put on a shorter stem and wider bars that I have spare.

Lovely bikes, I was bidding on a Carbon Skeen (the XC one) on ebay a while back, just missed out! Your seat looks tilted forward quite a bit though? Otherwise, it's a beauty and currently rare on the trails!
Faceplant looks nasty from the pic.. how you healing up?0 -
Healing well thanks! It was a quick spray and then the cut sealed up
I got used to having the seat tilted forward a bit on my previous bike. It seemed okay like that but I'm still experimenting with my position on the bike.0 -

Thats a lot of bike for the money! Really nice! Ze Germans are selling the HT version for 899 Euros!
Hope your face is ok!0 -
Lovely looking bike and great spec!
Where do you ride? Nobby Nics work well in some places, but in others no matter how much skill you have you are still coming off!0 -
Cannock Chase mainly at the moment. I did get a bit sideways a few times on the tyres but nothing too major, I came off taking some jumps waaay too fast and landing too hard on the front end which I can't attribute to the tyres at all.0

I didnt really rate the NNs for cannock chase. Its ridable on them, but they tend to slide out a lot, especially when the pebbles on the surface of several sections get a bit wet. Obviously technique comes into it as well, but I find that the maxxis High Rollers/Advantages/Ardents seem to grip much better there.0 -
