Basically I still can't make my mind up about buying a new Hardtail for £700 at the most. I am curious, are you paying a good £100-£200 for the specialized name? I have looked at the Rockhopper expert (I can get it for 700..) Is it worth the money, or are there any other bikes within my price range that have better specs?
Thanks
Thanks

Rather expensive for the spec, the fork isn't too great for the price. I'd have a look at Boardmans at the same sort of price.I don't do smileys.

You must compare the spec and make sure that you are not paying for advertisement as it seems to be the case with Specialized and some other "big" names. They still make profits with 20% sale later on.0

You're buying a bike, and I doubt you can afford to buy Halfords.I don't do smileys.

Genesis Core range, great frame to and all Shimano gear. Good start and you know you are upgrading a good frame, top review on here to.
