Never noticed it before but that top tube looks fooking dangerous....0

Lovely. I ordered a Nerve Am 7.0 on Friday. How did you find putting it together, was everything already set up OK (other than the suspension, I suppose).0
-
Yeah everything was set up perfectly. Could have set it up in ten minutes, but took my time.
The only thing to specifically set up are the fork and shock, but obviously that's done by rider preference anyway0 -

You should put a protective patch under the brake hose that runs past the fork crown. Mine rubbed away the paintwork in that exact same position.0

+1!2011 Canyon XC 8.0 (Monza Race Red)
1996(?) dyna-tech titanium HT; pace RC-35's; Hope Ti Hubs etc etc
Bianchi Road Bike0 -
Done that before I even set out up the drive
However, elsewhere I think Canyon have done an excellent job in the frame protection department0 -
that looks so dope0

Recently added some Superstar grips. they wear easily but I think its worth it for the price.
Also, popped on a Reverb on tonight. Pictures (hopefully including snow) will follow tommorrow0 -
Nice bike there.
Thinking of getting the 8 myself so interested in how you get on with it.
How's the sizing?London2Brighton Challange 100k!

Sorry, for the lack of pictures, want to do it in daylight so am waiting...
Re sizing, I used the guide on the website and it was correct. I'm a medium and am 5'9/10"ish
Rides perfect after 6 months, not had to do much to it except bleed the brakes. They are Avid however..... I think they're the next upgrade0 -
I put xt brakes on my am 6. They are a different class compared to the elixirs0
