Ok to cut to the chase I bought a caad 10 from someone that was 6 months old.
I have recently heard a ting noise when I go hard on the pedals and thought nothing of it and my 2002 tcr use to make this noise as the frame was so light.
I have now turned the pedals and heard a grinding noise as if dirt is stuck in the bottom bracket. I have also noticed that the oring that cover the bearings I think ? Seems to be warped and is not sitting flush and has actually bent out to touch the crank arm.......what to do or what's the cause, I'm not able to use the bike as I am worried of doing damage .....

Any advice appreciated....

That washer is supposed to be like that.
Take your chainset off and give everything a good clean and hopefully you won't require new bearings, if you do they're not that expensive.

Thanks mate, is the washer not meant to be flush, just asking as I have absolutely no idea. Is it a job I can do without specialist tools, I have googled it and the tools it brings up to do the job are expensive.....thanks btw appreciate any advice.

The washer shouldn't be flush(someone will give you the reason), FSA also use the same washer on their chainsets.
Ive got BB30 and you'll be able to take the chainset off and give everything a good clean without any specialist tools, that may work but don't use a degreaser.
