I have a set of Easton EA90 wheels, and the rear one is wobbling about a bit at the moment. Fairly sure I need to replace the ball bearing cartridge but have no idea where to source one from. Tried the Easton site to no avail but there surely must be somewhere these parts are available from.

Anyone have any idea?

find the BS size of the bearing

it can be a three, four or five digit value (numbers and letters) this is the bearing size and - 2RS (2 rubber seals, outside and inside)

hit ebay, they even do ceramic's sets in most sizes (never used them so cant say)

some companys change the inside profile of the race and ball size for specific customers but they are all the same standard external sizes (what ever that size is)

quick google and not the right size but.......

    http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/15022314 ... adtype=pla

and you will need the correct drift / vice combo to remove and replace

check the hope vids on youtube as an indication of how to do it

Might be stating the obvious here but have you checked the preload is properly adjusted?

The wheels will 'wobble' if it's slackened off for any reason.

A good guide here as to how to adjust:

    http://www.eastoncycling.com/en-us/road/assets/?title=r4-rear&subtitle=preload-adjustment
There's some other good stuff on there too.

Hub bearings on the R4 hub is one 6901 and one 6902 as here:
    http://www.eastoncycling.com/bike/wp-content/uploads/R4_R_Hub_Drawing.pdf
    6901, 6902 denotes the size.
when ordering they usually have a code after for eg 6901 2RS which means they have a rubber seal each side.
    No code=no seals
1RS (or RS) = seal on one side only.
I'd go with the 2RS version personally.

Hub bearings on an R4SL are the same size but much more expensive ceramic versions.
