Thanks, was going to go for the Canyon but I found an offer I couldn't resist.

It is amazing how much more stiff it is compared to my old ti bike. I can feel every pedal stroke gets converted into more speed.

    Haha, which Canyon?

I've heard the SuperSix is a real racey one.

The one you've got! I was going to get the same one (on my size). Got this for a little over £2k.

It is very racey and not as comfy as my Ti, but better than my alu Giant.

You can feel every distortion in the road surface as well. I had the same bike last year (same colour as well) and it was beautiful but stiff as a very stiff thing on a stiff day that has an especially good reason to be stiff. Uncomfortable. But fast.

You're right about the pedal stroke/power thing though. The first time I took it up a hill I could feel it surge forward with each stroke, was quite amazing really.

Could you? I thought it was comfy, definitely better than my aluminium Giant, which has got a more relaxed geometry. Fit is important too. I am 6' 4.5" and could have gone for the 63cm but I wanted something a bit more racey and less relaxed. I am only 32, may be in 10 years time I will think different though :)

In any case it needs a more intensive test, so hopefully we will have some decent weather this week.

Looks very nice, congratulations. I was wanting to try one of these based purely on how it looks.

That was a cracking deal you got from Westbrooks.

    Enjoy :D
