Shorts pilling?

Is it normal for bib shorts to start to pill on the inside of the thy? All mine are doing it, usually on one leg more than the other where the edge of the pad is situated. I Use Spec Romin saddles.

    It is almost certainly due to your thigh brushing against a rough edge somewhere on the bike. Typical areas to check could be a raised scuff on your saddle, an exposed area of saddle rail clamp, a bolt if you have a stubby type seat cap or the velcro tab on a saddle bag (the type has a strap around the seatpost).

    Yeah chances are it's a seat bag (Romins are pretty smooth at the sides).

    I've had issues mainly with narrow-nosed saddles leaving areas of the seat clamp exposed. Made a right mess of my Assos Uno's before I realised where the rubbing was

    could also be velcro from a jacket or cape
