What folder for ~£400

I have a freind who is looking for a new bike for a 5.5 mile london commute. He tells me it needs to be a folder, preferabley with 26in or 700c wheels. He is looking to spend around £400.
Unfortunatly I know nothing about folders as I have never needed one. All I can suggest dathons or bromptons, but they all seems to be 20 in wheels so he isn't too keen.
Is there anything suitable out there?

You might find a Dahon Cadenza (26" wheeled folder) near your friend's budget if you shop around a bit. For example here at exactly £400, but only in small or large:-

The Cadenza is quite a nice bike but as a folder, it is a big package. You can stow it in a large car boot and it may fit inside a large cupboard.
Montague folders are about the same size.
What kind of folding capability does he need?0 -
He wants to fold it for storage in a flat and the occassional rail commute (out of the city).
Ill send him that liesure lakes link, not sure what frame size he needs, i assume L though.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)
