Diet in the week before a 2 day cycle event

I am doing 145 miles Coast2Coast ride over 2 days ...... What recommendations would nutrition guys make for food intake in the 3-4 days ahead of the event???

Lors of pasta ? Baked potato?

    I've not had any personal experience, but look up information on 'carb loading' which you could try over the week running up to the event.

    This isn't just stuffing yourself with carbs. I believe it's about eating a high percentage of carbs on days 1-3 before removing carbs completely for 4-5 and then on 6-7 your body should theoretically absorb and store more energy as it believes it will be starved of carbs again.

    Never tried it personally but I know a few people who swear by it...

    Just your regular diet will do fine.

    70 miles per day, thats not alot. Just make sure you keep eating regularly when you're cycling.
