Hi Guys,
Buying a knew bike with a budget of £500 which doesn't necessarily mean I want to spend it all.

I am split between bikes at halforda after looking at reviews of:
- Carrera Vulcan
- Voodoo Hoodoo
- Carrerra Fury
- Carrera Vengeance
- Voodoo Bakku

I have been looking and not sure what to get. I would generally be riding on flats but do what enough capability on the bike to go Mountain Biking/Downhill. Please let me know your opinions and what you would choose.

And I do know that Halfors building service is total rubbish I would be building myself :)
Just want to say thanks in advance

Halfords PDI are no better or worse than any other shop. You either have a good shop or a bad shop.

What do you mean by downhill? As none of those are Downhill bikes. But the can be ridden down a hill.

When I say downhill I do not mean proper courses I just meen more off road, and something which suspension allows for a few small jumps, little trails through woods but the frame is strong as well. Not really downhill.
  • Voodoo Bantu would be sufficient for your needs, but try them out for fit
