Alternative to my craft bib shorts

Hi all,

About a month ago I purchased some craft performance bib shorts from wiggle.
They are a really nice fit (as are craft jerseys) but the pad has a sort of 'wing' around the edge.
This 'wing' is making me really sore after about 35 miles.

I also have a pair of dhb pace bib tights, these are an amazing and very comfortable. I would buy the bib short equivalent but they bobbled on the ass on the first ride - my friends did the same - so I am a little suspect of their longevity.

Any recommendations? My budget is not much higher than the craft.

Matt

Send them back and get another pair. I suspect that this is a fault. I've had a number of pair of Craft shorts, both Performance and Elite, and they've been fantastic. Can't fault them, and certainly no 'wing' around the pad.

I agree with Matt. I have 3 pairs of Craft Performance shorts and they're excellent. I've never had a problem with the pad and mine certainly don't have a 'wing'. I'd email Wiggle and see what they say.

Also, I use the DHB Pace Roubaix tigths (full and 3/4) in Winter and have found they do bobble where they come into contact with the saddle but that's about as bad as it gets. I've had one pair two years now and they're still going strong. I've found DHB kit is usually well made and you do get your moneys worth.

DHB aeron pro's are the best shorts I've used under £100

    Hey Matt,

Try Lusso pro gel bibs. Great shorts, very comfortable, fit well and wash well. Very good for the price.

I've done six and seven hour rides in them without any problems.

    Good luck.
