Mtb camping weekend in scotland.

Looking for somwhere which i can get the train from Edinburgh to to have a weekend cycling and camping. Any suggestions? was thinking of mostley off road on tracks with some single track.

Aviemore is meant to be good also.

Or you could look the other way and get the train to Windermere or Penrith and ride the Lakes; or conversely go from Carlisle into the Yorkshire Dales eg Dent
