Hi, bought myself a Trek 4900 a few months ago it does seem quite beefy so i am thinking of upgrading to some lighter wheels
and shox as anybody got any suggestions. Cheers.

What is your budget, and how much do you weigh?0

Hi supersonic, I weigh 80 kg,
I,ve been looking around e-bay and was thinking £150 ish for the wheels and £200 for the shox been looking at the
Rock Shox Rebas ? the front end on the Trek seems very heavy there suntours xcm on at the moment.
I ride mainly trails & bridleways.0 -
I'd certainly look at the Rebas, great fork, and you'd save 2lbs in weight. However £150 for wheels might not get you much lighter than is already on there.0

As in the other thread, take a look at these wheels. http://www.bike24.com/p224878.htmlA much loved, Giant Trance X3 20100
