can you bleed your brakes? can use a hair dryer? if yes to both then you will have no probs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

in depth view
so some types of material will crack rather than stretch which can be a pain (never used it on bikes but have used more than my fair share of this particular sealing process)
so you need to guess the diameter the final size quite accurately because too tight will be a pain and will crack as it reduces in diameter - they sell the stuff (check the RS cat for all the different types and buy from ebay or screw direct, or maplin)
http://uk.rs-online.com/web/
if the stuff gets too tight it will crack, some are more water / uv compliant than others
sounds like a total pain, and a waste of time to me, use zip ties and spirawrap if you are that bothered, but as the cables and that stay tight together they will rub the frame more and in a unusual patten0 -
sounds painful, just cr@p i cant get coloured braided hoses for my elixir 5s0

But you'd still need to bleed them after changing the hoses, which should be black anyway.I don't do smileys.

IMHO I could think of a lot better things to blow a hundred on. They'll look like sh1t after a few muddy rides anyway.I don't do smileys.

White hoses. You will also need a fitting kit, make sure you choose the correct one.0

I get a vague impression that you don't consider it a wonderful idea, somehow.

Hmm, fair enough.
No, good sir, I do not believe that such an investment would be a worthwhile use of your monies.
One might say you'd be better off investing in chocolate teapots, since that would surely be a lesser waste.0 -

If you really want to colour code them with heatshrink, have a looky here http://www.hilltop-products.co.uk/heat-shrink-single-wall/hsp1/hsp1-4-8-2-4mm-dia.html nice and cheap.
We use them all the time, not for colour coding hoses though...
Without measuring the hoses, thats prob the size you'd want, but double check yourself first.
Oh yeah and £100 for coloured hoses is stupid. Send me your hoses and £90 and I'll send em back any colour you want0
