Bus Driver's Strike didn't help....

Left this morning with the thought of nice empty bus lanes to cycle along; but the traffic in Surrey/South London was biblical! Everyone just got in their car. It was pretty obvious that many of them were not regular commuter drivers too - a VERY hairy commute in today. Think I'll take the long route home along the Thames towpath.........

    Really!?

I was wondering what was going on as there was so little traffic in SW and central london- lovely empty bus lanes and hardly any nodders cos of the weather- it was awesome! I posted my fastest ever time in, although it was monumentally wind assisted.

No difference in the commute for me.

I must say I went from Kingston to New Malden and then back through Kingston to Feltham and found the traffic not much worse than usual, and the bus lanes were like having my own private lane. Lovely.
Shame about carrying my own personal headwind with me everywhere.

didn't notice any difference in traffic from tower hill to fulham.

lack of the fair weather lot didn't help as the headwind half killed me ;)
