No not the tyranny of Rick Chasey and no not the continual "Revenge attacks from Porgy"

It's the pink bar containing the hyperlink "Forum rules" that seems to follow me around the website.

Someone explain why it has to be there all the time?

#Annoyingmuch?

    the worst bit is :

the site down loads, then just as you are about to click on somthing that add-in banner pops up and everything shifts down so you have clicked on the wrong button......

or you click the grey area and start getting adverts for scott bikes (if i wanted 1 I would go to their web site)

but its all about the money eh??

Actually, I really wish this website had a reddit like voting system for posts. I've gotten so used to how reddit works that old style forums just seem clunky to me.

+1 (lots of times) - I'm OK with generating revenue but FFS load the page in one go....

I hear this odd noise when I load up the forum now and again, a whining noise, anyone else?

That's DDD and his pink bar aversion. We just tune it out.

It is the fan on your CPU as the CPU works harder to load up the page (and all those ads :) )

You don't have to load up all those ads, but if you don't, just remember that nobody likes ads but they pay for the site and have the class not to whinge etc etc. ;-)

I must confess that I think the stricter enforcement of the rules, and thus the pink banner, has all come about as a result of the hoo-haa created over the Girls in... threads.
Pandora's box and several cans of worms have been opened. This is the result.

And lets not forget the commuterphobia going on over in Cake Stop and now Bottom Bracket. Some of us like to inhabit both areas!

So, what are we going to do with DDD then in retribution for all the trouble he's caused?

There was me trying to be subtle and not name names. Most unlike me.
I think Iclestu's denial of the pink bar's existence was more fun.

I haven't named names. I could be talking about JZe, UnercoverElephant, MuCow007, MeanReSpier or someone else...
