Hi guys, Basically I've got a problem with my back wheel. See - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10002&t=12861570
What's my best option? Buying a replacement rim or letting them see what they can do?
Not the same brand but 26" and 32 hole should be fine with my current hub and spokes?
Was looking at this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=26283
Is it a step up or down and would it be fine for what I wanna do?

When you add up the cost of a re-build it's cheaper to buy a complete wheel.
Have a look at Superstar Components, should be able to get a wheel for under £70Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
So to buy a new rim and use my current spokes and hub and get it all fixed together it'll cost more than a new built wheel?0

Almost. Ok sets can be had for under 60 quid.0

Your spokes may or may not actually fit the rim you've chosen...
some cost to dismantle wheel - £5?
£15 to rebuild
might need new spokes @ approx £15 a wheel
new rim @ £25
still looking worth it?
the most cost effective solution is to buy a spoke key and learn to true a wheel, if it wasn't that bad before then it could certainly be rebuilt.0
