Ads causing lockup ?

Hi Guys,

I'm finding that BR is locking up at certain points when I navigate around the forum. It's always due to the same thing, downloading something from one of the ad sites. The message is below. I'm pretty sure it's not my laptop as it only happens when trying to download from this address on BR, I never have the issue with other sites. I have to close explorer and restart when it happens.

Any thoughts ? Potential site issue ?

    I get this as well, when using the work PC which is IE8(?) Well annoying!

    Me three. On the work pc running Windows 7 and IE8. It comes up with a message saying the site is not responding and tries to recover the page.
    Is it the site trying to tell me I should do some work?

    The ads actually crash Opera Mobile. (running on Android)

    And me - work PC running XP, home running Win7 (I think, not XP or Vista)

    My laptop keeps locking up while the ads load too and I have to recover the page - very annoying!

    yup I get lock up too. Normally have to shut down chrome and re-open.

    Does it happen every time you load a page or is it only certain pages? Do you know if there are certain ads which cause it to lock up?

    I thought it had improved, but completely froze everything just now. Clicked quick reply to another topic and it froze. Restarted and it seems fine. Could of course be my pc.

    Yup, handing again, work PC, Win XP Pro, went into the Road Beginners forum, back to the forum index page and hang, had to hit the top RHS 'x'

    Just had this lock up again.
    Into Forum
    Into this thread - then back out and into the Road, into the Road Beginners and it locked. Couldn't tell what ad was about to display - is that possible ?
    Killed the process, do the same again and it's fine.
    Win XP Pro

    Ok, caught it this time, it's hung 3 times today - how am I supposed to get any work done :)

    and again this morning, went into Road Beginners and the page locked.
    At the bottom it was showing this url

    Not sure if that's any help, this is getting to be a PITA
