Right,
I'm looking at riders for a EW bet as I think Wiggins and Evans have 1&2 sawn up bar mishaps.
The odds on Wiggins and Evans are mad compared to previous years. Think the favourite is usually around 5-1 IIRC.
So I'm looking at a couple of outsiders to put so money on EW, as it doesn't take a lot for the above two have a bad day a blow it.
At the money I'm thinking
Nibs 22-1,
Lieuwe Westra 100/1
and
Rein Taaramae 250-1

Let's take a look at odds checker for top 3 finishes. They're a little old by the looks of it, with Andy Schleck still there.

for me Rein Taaramae 250-1 is crazy odds yes I don't think he we win but 250-1 for a GC leader who can tt a bit and the climbs this year suit him better. Plus he's top 10ed in a GT before

Betting on someone who won't make it is pointless, however good the odds are.0 -
3rd is a ask, I did say outside. Lieuwe Westra at 100-1 is high with the route and he is a outside chanceeating parmos since 1981

i'd have a couple of quid on Westra at 100-1 any day of the week! Rolland good for a couple of quid too but I know nothing about his TT.0

TT has been appalling in the past.0 -

Good point, weak I believe (looking at last years in various races). Can he make up 5 minutes in the mountains? Unlikely.0 -

Even more so if he has to drag TV around again0 -
I'm tempted by Cobo. Froome as well. Both have previous form in GTs.0
-
Rogers worth a go, good TT and will be up there in the mountains due to his support role for Wiggins. Froome similar but less generous odds.0
-
Just been looking at this for an each way bet.
How about Martin (66-1 best price) or Valverde (50)?
Also, I'm nostalgic for the old guard. Basso (200), Menchov (22).
How about Vino for top 10?0 -
