    Bit of a shame that the quality of the reporting here is so poor. Referring to it as a "Trek" and a "Challenge" etc. They are doing the Race Across America, which makes it even more impressive as they have to stick to a crazily strict set of rules! Them finishing will be a ridiculously massive achievement!

    There are several teams from the states doing RAAM on behalf of their equivalent of Help for Heroes and they get huge support in the media, whereas these guys and Strategic Lions (who finished first in the 8 man race last year) get barely any support/profile!

    Indeed, good luck. That looks bloody hard. I agree with mrc1, the tone of the article makes it sound more like the London to Brighton. Only in the last paragraph does it give any context as to just how hard it is.
