x country ride kegworth

Any crosscountry riders fancy midweek or early Morning weekend rides good off road 18 mile route singletrack woods all but 2ish miles on road round East midlands Airport????

    I would like to explore this area. Just need a gap in the rain but this weekend isn't looking too bad. PM me the details of your proposed route and the time.

    I know this area quite well and would jion you but not till the weekend of the 14th of July or could do an evening ride ?.Which route do you follow ?

    I've done a couple of rides past the airport involving the cloud trail (out via Breaston or Shardlow and back via Kegworth or Lockington) and also some trails around East Leak and Gotham but I've not found much singletrack. I can do midweek evening next week or weekend of 14th.

    Usually start at Ticknall there are a couple of good routes,bit of a mixed bag singletrack,doubletrack and bridleways try to aviod using the roads but they are quiet up there,Sunday 15th is best at the moment !
