Rockrider 8.1 or Carrera Vulcan

Hi I am going to buy one of these 2 bikes, could anyone advise as to which is the best value for money. The Rockrider is £499 and the Vulcan is £379. I don't do anything major offroad and generally look after my bikes so resale value after 2 or 3 years would also be a help. Thanks

    If you don't do anything major off road, neither seems the right choice!

    If you are going mountain biking the Rockrider is the much better bike and looked after should hold its value no better or worse than the Vulcan.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
