Seen a few people recommend them, Dirt cheap but what's the quality like? Mainly the bladder?
Worth a buy? Or worth spending a bit more for a Camelbak etc?

I've had one for three years. Still going fine. Cheap but does the job. Only ever use water though, empty it, stick it in the freezer, job done.
Not very big but holds pump, tools, tube, a light jacket and some cake. All you need really.I don't do smileys.

Why do you say that? I stick diluted Lucozade isotonic orange bobbins in my hydration bladder.0 -
I meant I only ever use water. So I don't need to clean sticky stuff out of it.I don't do smileys.

Looked at Osprey, Camelback and even 15/20litre rucksacks (and add a separate bladder) for Mountain Warehouse. Thought i needed something bigger then the Tesco one, but bought it and tried it.
Its a superb buy, and all i need for several hours at a trail centre - it'll easily carry ..
spare tube
multitool
small pump
repair kit
tyre levels
lightweight jacket
several energy bars
phone, keys etc
a spare drinks bottle for my son !
£11.something these days but still a bargain - just remeber to wash it through with sterilising fluid before first use an ecery now and again afterwards (more so if you use diluted drinks etc)0 -
I have one, cant complain at all, fit's all tools, tubes, food and waterproofs. Great bargain!Rockrider 8.1 (2011)0

Excellent for the money, got mine about 2 years ago for £6.99.
I have since changed the bladder for a Platypuss item from Mountain Warehouse. I somehow lost the original :evil:2019 Ribble CGR SL

Bought one as a back-up pack, it's pretty good but not as comfy to use as a camelbak or osprey and the bladder/bite valve is pretty basic but all works fine.0
