Preferably my age (19-25), into XC, DH and Freeride riding styles. I'm up for riding local trails, riding UK trails and even going abroad. I want to develop my skills with someone who shares the same passion for biking as I do. At the moment I cannot drive but should have passed my test by the end of 2012.

I mainly ride DH / Freeride

Cheers - Kav

Sadly Hampshire is a bit lacking in DH / FR.....

(Actually that's not even true as the UK Bike Park is very good - but Dorset I think!)

We ride from Fordingbridge in the New Forest every Wednesday night, but it's obviously natural stuff. PM me for details.... We are also *ahem* more of a mature group

I live in West Sussex, but our local MTB group spans West Sussex and Hampshire - see my sig for the Kingley Vale Mountain Bikers. For DH stuff I believe that there's Rogate (near Petersfield but over the border in West Sussex), and the Gravity Project which is at Lower Froyle which is between Basingstoke and Farnham.

Yeah, actually this is all very true! What I should have said was Hampshire was a bit lacking in long DH runs - what we have is very good though!

DH_Kav, didn't say where you live. If you're north Hampshire or just happen to be in the area, loads of us about the area regularly doing stuff around Swinley and Surrey Hills. Check out the London Calling thread for example. Mostly regular trail riding but a fair few DHillers about and some go down to Rogate and up to Aston.

Age range, wouldn't worry. One thing I've found with MTB is it makes ages largely irrelevant. I've been riding with people from 16 to, well we're not quite at 60 yet but not far off :D. Frankly I never really pay attention to who's what age, we're all just folk who ride bikes. Except the older you are the more painful the crashes are perhaps.
