Some interesting points, particuarly regarding his 3rd place in the Red Jersey - some food for thought for Sky with Cav and Wiggo this July. Also, the pre-determined (albeit, how much) tactics of sending VdV up the road to help on the Stelvio, seems to be a relatively underused tactic, but has given soem good results recently, e.g Montfort and Schleck last year too.
