Not sure I'd use the phone for that... taking video murders the battery. Flip-type cameras are probably better suited?

  • I'm looking at some cameras that are cycle specific(ish) - just thought I could utilise the phone as its either in my bag or pocket.. just thinking about using what I already have :-)

I bought the Topeak Ridecase which mounts on the stem and can be rotated to allow use of the camera. As noted, it does run the battery down, especially when one runs a GPS-based tracking app. Ideal for the occasional filming, and a snap to transfer to my iPad for viewing, but I'd get a dedicated camera if I wanted to record every ride.
