Is anyone doing this at the weekend?
I'm staying in Tirano as it is only 10k from the start, but now having seen the elevation profile of that 10k I don't think I will cycle to the start! Does anyone know a way to get there before the event?
and after it's finished England play Italy, it should be an interesting day!

I did it last year, it's a cracking event, although the Mortirolo is a horrid climb My friend and I drove to the start as we also stayed in Tirano.
Wish I was out there. The Gavia is a beautiful ride with some spectacular views. Weather doesn't look as good as it was last year, which is probably a blessing as crawling up the Mortirolo when it's 30+ is very tough. Sure it being cooler will help.0 -
I looked into doing this but events aligned in such a way that it didn't happen. Maybe next year. Good luck!Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
