After a fair few failed attempts at a tuck no hander and a 180 rotation, jumps just not giving enough height and with a couple of hours to spare and with inspiration from an old Dirt magazine article, I decided to make this.....
Built for height can't wait to try it out!!!!

It fits on the back of the truck so taking it to a local carpark that has a step up grass bank, so can land onto that, might even take it to a local dirt jump spot.
Its not very heavy and two people can easily carry it.0 -

Is it heavy enough that it won't slide forward when you ride onto it? I don't know enough about the physics of these things, but it's worth checking. Same goes for tipping over when you and your bike are somewhere near the top of the curveSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015

Yeah its heavy enough, idea is to put it against a kerb or similar (wall etc) and if need be a 3x2 support bar to stop the tipping.0

take video and a mate to film it for the first use....."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nicely built.
Another option would be to find a pool or lake a la Cam McCaul/The Claw in Seasons. At least injury is delayed for a few days until you feel confident to try on land!
I realise finding a pool or lake is easier said than done.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

Is that back tyre a bit soft (asked someone who'd never done a jump on a ramp in his life)?
does look it but there is 30psi in that, massive tyre so I run them a tad lower for grip.0 -
Coupled with lots of compression for the take off, look at your forks too !!0
