Lock advice, anyone? Two possibilities...

Having decided that it's time to get a decent lock, I'm now torn between:
(i) the Knog Strongman (http://bit.ly/KKlpsM)
(ii) the Kryptonite New York 3000 (http://bit.ly/KKlH2P)
Am drawn to the look of the Knog, but want to go for the more secure lock. The Kryptonite seems very heavy but, again, I'd go for it if it were the more secure option.
Any advice and / or experience with either would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

can never go wrong with a new yorker.
Can you leave it in "your spot" I have a new yorker chain in my spot and I just use it there. No need to carry it as I don't leave my bike anywhere else0 -
I use a New Yorker to lock my commuting bike at work - great lock & have no hesitation recommending it.
No experience of the Knog I'm afraid.0 -
I'm sure the Knog is a good lock, but i'd always go for the Kryptonite over it - they specialise in security, Knog specialise in 'trendy' stuff......like i say, i'm sure Knog have done a good job (as they normally do) but i'd be more confident with the Kryptonite......and it's a bit cheaper as well!0

I've got the Kryptonite one and am impressed.
To slightly hijack the thread (sorry)...
I can't really be arsed with carrying the kryptonite to/from work so plan on leaving it at work. But I've got a better bike at home that I will be securing to an anchor in the garage to keep my home insurance people happy. I think I need a gold standard lock for this job, but don't want to spend the earth (having already shelled out for the kryptonite). Anyone recommend a good (gold standard) lock that I can use to secure my bike in the garage?0
