BB Replacement

Hi guys.
Need my bottom bracket replacing, but not sure which will fit, what tools, grease etc.
Current bike is a Giant Trance X3 2009. Current bottom bracket is Race Face X Type, external.

It is all on Parktools.
Undo the Allen bolt this pulls off he crank push out the other side remove cups replace ups."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

have been looking today.
My current bottom bracket is a Raceface X Type External. Could i replace this with a shimano SLX BB and still keep my existing raceface ride XC Cranks?
