looking for a biker friendly place to stay in or around the forest of Dean any suggestions?

    Who are you going with? If its a family trip with some riding thrown in then the Forestry Commission log cabins are very good, bike friendly, and near some decent riding.

    Stayed at fountain lodge, don't recommend it though

    The Fountain Lodge and the Fountain Inn are actually different places. We've never stayed in the Inn, but we stayed in the Lodge 3 weeks ago and there was nothing wrong with it then. It's pretty basic, but it covers all the bases and it's also very cheap.
