I am going to replace my tiagra chainset on my newly built commuter.

Now, Should I go for another tiagra, or would it be wise to upgrade to the 105?

Is there any noticeable difference?

Thanks

Also, can 9 speed systems be used with a 10 speed chainset?

    Thanks

9 speed will work fine with a 10 speed chainset up front. Obviosuly need a 9 speed rear cassette still.
    Yellow is the new Black.

Won't the wider 9 speed chain be a problem for the 10 speed chain rings or is it just a case of making sure that the front mech is set up well in any case?
